  I am a former CEF coach and now am a practicing veterinarian. This past fall I moved and was unable to take my horse and donkey with me. I had to find a place to board them and was very worried as they both have special needs and my mare does not trust most people, especially men. I was very fortunate that Denise and Mathew had room at their Safe Haven for my two girls. They are in the best of hands. My mare likes and trusts them both and they have been wonderful about managing both girls' special needs. I live very far away so cannot come out very often to see them but know they are in the best, "safe" hands. If you are looking for a safe haven for your horse or someone who is kind and caring to help you with their 'issues' you would do well to contact Denise.
